THE person that taught me the most about love, compassion, morals, scruples, work ethics, and family is gone.

my Mom passed away Saturday night, May 25th, 2013, after a long battle with lung cancer.

her doctors didn't think she'd make it past Christmas...

we had her for another 5 months!

...that time was used to talk about EVERYthing that hadn't been talked about, to ask questions that only she knew the answers to,

and a 'GIFT of Time' to say "good-bye" that very few people get....

..........................................................................................................................................................

... now I know the ultimate pain.

I only wish I was more like her - she was THE most selfless, loving person I have EVER met - and she was MY Mom... God, I MISS HER!

There's a hole in my soul and only time can dull the pain...  now I need to talk with God...  and thank Him for the BEST Mom ANYone could have had.

....................................
God saw you getting tired,
The cure was not to be
He wrapped you in His loving arms,
and whispered "come to Me"
You suffered much in silence,
Your spirit did not bend
You faced your pain with courage,
Until the very end
You tried so hard to stay with us
Your fight was not in vain
God took you to His loving home
And freed you from your pain
A golden heart stopped beating,
Two working hands at rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
HE ONLY TAKES THE BEST
